A Note From The Founder
Dream Lab was created from a simple observation:
Children are naturally curious, creative, and eager to understand how the world works, yet most of the technology around them is designed for consumption, not creation.
As a parent myself, I wanted a place where children could learn how technology works in a way that feels playful, human, and empowering, rather than intimidating or overly academic.
Dream Lab is not about turning children into engineers as fast as possible. It’s about helping them build confidence, think logically, express ideas, and enjoy the process of learning.

How Children Learn at Dream Lab
Project-Based Learning
Children learn best when they are working on something they care about. At Dream Lab, learning is centered around projects. Rather than isolated exercises, children build small games, animations, stories, or interactive creations. Each project gives purpose to what they are learning and helps them see how ideas connect.
develop real skills!
not watching!
Learning by Doing
We believe children learn by actively engaging, not by watching or memorizing. At Dream Lab, children learn by trying, experimenting, and interacting with tools directly. Teachers guide and support, but children are encouraged to explore and discover solutions themselves.
Trial and Error
Making mistakes is not something to avoid, it’s part of learning. Children are encouraged to test ideas, see what works, notice what doesn’t, and try again. Errors are treated as information, not failure.
be resilient!
we, not me.
Collaboration
Learning is not a solo activity. Children often work alongside others, share ideas, and help each other solve problems. Explaining an idea to a peer or seeing a different approach deepens understanding.
Reflection
Taking time to reflect helps learning stick. Children are encouraged to look back at what they’ve built, talk about what they learned, and think about what they might improve next time. Reflection helps them become more aware of their progress and proud of their effort.
grow confidently.
Our Values
At Dream Lab, our values guide how we teach, how we interact with children, and how we work with families. They shape every class, every project, and every small moment of learning.

Curious
Curiosity is where learning begins. We encourage children to ask questions, explore ideas, and wonder how things work. There is no such thing as a “silly question” at Dream Lab. Curiosity is always welcomed and celebrated.

Kind
Kindness is at the heart of our learning environment. Children are encouraged to respect each other, support one another, and work together. We believe learning is more powerful when it happens in a space that feels safe, inclusive, and caring.

Creative
Creativity is more than imagination, it’s expression. At Dream Lab, children are free to create projects that reflect their ideas, interests, and personalities. There is no single “right answer”, only different ways of building and expressing ideas.

Generous
We believe in sharing knowledge, ideas, and encouragement. Children learn to help each other, explain their thinking, and celebrate others’ successes. Generosity builds confidence and strengthens our learning community.

Resilient
Learning means trying, failing, and trying again. At Dream Lab, mistakes are part of the process. We help children develop resilience by encouraging them to persist, adapt, and see challenges as opportunities to grow.

1% Better Every Day
Progress doesn’t have to be fast to be meaningful. We focus on small, steady improvements, understanding one new concept, solving one new problem, or gaining a bit more confidence each time. Over time, these small steps make a big difference.

Dream Big, Start Small
Big ideas often begin with small steps. Children are encouraged to imagine ambitious projects, while learning how to break them down into simple, achievable actions. This teaches both creativity and structure.

Build with Heart
What we build should matter. We encourage children to create with intention, care, and pride, whether it’s a small animation or a larger project. Learning is not just technical; it’s personal.

Reach Highs, Never Limits
We don’t put ceilings on potential. Every child learns differently and at their own pace. At Dream Lab, we focus on helping each child grow with confidence, without labels, comparisons, or limits.
